ION batteries are made for the ION motor system used in several popular bicycle brands such as Sparta, Batavus and Koga. This can be either a center motor, front wheel motor or rear wheel motor. Batteries from the ION series must be registered with a dealer otherwise the support will stop after 15 to 50 km. Registration is done with a computer that links the bicycle to the battery.

After the battery is installed, it must be connected to the bicycle via the computer. If the battery is not linked it will not work properly. Replacing this battery yourself is at your own risk. After purchase and installation, always have the battery reported to the dealer!
